1. Educational & Guidance Disclaimer (Non-Therapy Notice)
Conversational & Navigational Guidance
Sessions offered through The OpenHand Path are designed solely as unscripted, reflective, and navigational dialogues for individuals exploring life, career, or personal transitions.
Not Licensed Medical or Psychological Therapy
No Doctor-Patient Relationship: The OpenHand Path does not provide psychotherapy, psychiatric diagnosis, clinical counseling, or medical advice.
Not a Substitute for Mental Healthcare: Our sessions are not a substitute for care by a licensed mental health practitioner or healthcare provider.

2. Unscripted 1-on-1 Sessions & Media Recording
Collaborative Agreement
By applying for and participating in a recorded session with The OpenHand Path, you acknowledge that the conversation is intended to be recorded and published across public channels (such as YouTube, TikTok, and web archives) for reflective and educational purposes.
The Safe-Stop & Editorial Protocol
We prioritize the psychological safety and personal comfort of every participant. To ensure a grounded, non-exploitative environment, the following protocols apply to all recorded sessions:
In-Session Pause (Safe-Stop): Either party holds the absolute right to pause or stop the recording at any moment during a session without obligation, explanation, or penalty.
Post-Session Editorial Review: Following a recorded session, you will be given a designated window to highlight any sensitive, private, or identifying details you wish to have redacted or anonymized prior to public editing and release.
Anonymity & Consent: A separate, explicit Media Release Agreement will be executed prior to public upload, detailing the agreed scope of publication, name usage, or visual masking.
3. Application, Curation & Right to Refuse Service
Because The OpenHand Path focuses on deep, intentional 1-on-1 dialogue, we curate applicant participation to ensure mutual alignment, safety, and constructive resonance.
No Guarantee of Selection: Submitting an intake form via Tally.so does not guarantee an invitation to a recorded session.
Right of Decline: We reserve the right to decline applications or discontinue a session at any time if we determine that the request falls outside our scope of guidance (e.g., requires licensed clinical intervention or high-crisis support).
4. Intellectual Property & Website Use
Content Ownership: All text, video content, audio recordings, design elements, and brand materials published on
openhandpath.comand associated channels are the intellectual property of The OpenHand Path unless otherwise credited.Permitted Use: You may view, stream, and share public links to our video content for personal, non-commercial use. Any unauthorized reproduction, commercial distribution, or modification of site assets without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law (including German civil law):

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes arising in connection with these terms or the operation of openhandpath.com shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany.
